Second To None e’ ottimizzato per Firefox, Safari, Chrome e Opera.

Letters embedded. Please try it and let me know!
If by “try it” you mean to download and install the theme again – I did that, but there’s no Cyrillics.
Also, the downloaded ZIP file (as well as the extracted folder are EXACTLY the same size (to the byte) as my previous copy…
That’s the file I got a few days ago and just now too:
http://www.altamentedecorativo.com/downloads/second_to_none(2_columns).zip
Thanks for your efforts!
i’M SORRY, i’VE UPLOADED ONLY ONE VERSION OF THE THEME. PLEASE, DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN!
OK, I downloaded and installed again the 2-col version, this time it was different size (after clearing cache, etc) – still no Cyrillic letters. Could you test this at your side before uploading any new versions? And could you please verify the font you’re using actually HAS the Cyrillic glyphs?
Thanks for your efforts.
In fact, Din doesn’t support Cyrillic glyphs. I’ve uploaded a very similar font, please try it: http://www.altamentedecorativo.com/downloads/cyr_din.zip
Extract the swf file and overwrite the one in your s8fr/flash/ folder.
Let me know!
You’ll be disappointed to learn that replacing the .SWF file did not help. I’m not sure if that is enough – probably there should be soma change in other files in the SIFR folder?
I’m sorry to give you this much trouble – maybe you could test at your side before uploading another solution, just to make sure and save you some time?
Thanks a lot!
OKm you may discard my previous comment! It is actually working.
What fooled me was the theme preview in WordPress admin – it did not show the proper sIFR, but once I activated the theme and checked the site – the font shows just fine.
A side note for other users – you may use http://www.sifrgenerator.com and then use the output SWF file to get a font of your liking in this theme. Just rename it to din.swf and replace the same file in /wp-content/themes/second_to_none/sifr/flash/ folder!
Thanks for you help!
Well, I’m happy to hear that! In fact, in preview mode, Sifr doesn’t work. And thanks for the link!
“Warning wp_footer(); not found in your footer.php file, this might mean this plugin will not work!”.
Grazie mille in anticipo.
come non detto Danny, ho risolto subito…
mancava solo “;” dopo la funzione.
ora sembra tutto in regola,
grazie lo stesso
ciao daniele,
thank you for this very nice and clean theme. I installed it yesterday on my blog:
it works pretty fine. one minor issue though: the search input filed doesn’t work. didn’t check it yet.
thanks again, greetings from germany
It’s a simple problem: text is white!
add:
input #s {color:#everycolorbutnotwhite!}
Hey there,
I’m using this theme for a client’s blog and can’t get this logo fix to work. I’ve done everything prescribed here and I’m still just getting the SIFR based blog title. I’m sure its a small error but I’ve already spent far too long trying to figure it out. Can you give me any information that might help? The effected blog is http://sirlennox.com/blog
Thanks in advance!
Hey Erik, you still have “selector: ‘#blog-title’,
” in your sifr-config.js in sifr/js/ folder. please, try to remove it and let me know!
I’ve removed that line and uploaded the altered file. Now the SIFR flash doesn’t show but I’m still not getting the logo. When I View Source I see: div id=”blog-title”… a href=”http://sirlennox.com/blog/” title=”sirlennox says…” rel=”home”>sirlennox says…</a
(some code removed) but when I look directly in the files to change this I'm not seeing it anywhere. How do I change this to be the image? I apologize for using your time but your help is very appreciated.
Could you send me your theme folder? I hope it could help me in understanding the problem…
Wow. Stupid me 😉
Thank you. Will add the colour to the css.
😉
Dear Danny,
Is there a way to have the index page show only excerpts????
Thanx.
PD. This is a very nice theme, you are a great developer.
Hey Pablo, thanks! Sure, there is. This is a Thematic core function. You better ask for assistance on Thematic Forum. Please post your question on http://themeshaper.com/forums/ (maybe someone has already reply to this question). Hope it helps! Feel free to come back to ask for further assistance!
Hey danny,
Im using your theme in my website and it’s perfect! but in the last weeks, something changed. In firefox, the posts have no left margin, being glued to the edge of the screen. That only happens in computers with regular (no widescreen) monitors. Did I break something? It works well in IE…
Forget what I said, it was just firefox’ zoom thing messing me up!
This is a good news!
